Room Details

Three hundred square feet DIU hall rooms are spacious and convenient enough to accommodate four students at a time.

The room is fully furnished with beds and under-bed drawers. Each student will have separate study tables and chairs from their first day at the hall. There is enough light in the room to ensure a comfortable study environment. Also, high-speed internet and wifi connection for each student is available in the hall. Along with a stable electricity supply, each hall has a generator connection in case of power failure. Housekeeping and pest control service is also available to keep the area clean & hygienic.

To ensure comfortable accommodation for students, DIU has established three halls for male students on campus. Younus Khan scholar Garden 1 Block A has a total of 816 seats for students.

The hall environment is friendly, supportive, and alcohol-free. 24/7 security and CCTV are available to ensure the safety of the students. The hall also has a newspaper reading area, prayer hall, medical facility, well-equipped gym, and canteen available for the students. The dedicated staff and hall in charge are responsible for maintaining a healthy and clean environment in the hall

Rowshan Ara Scholar Garden

DIU has established a separate female hall on campus to ensure comfortable and safe accommodation for the female students. The Rowshan Ara Scholar Garden has a capacity of 792 seats dedicated to female students under 24/7 security and CCTV surveillance.

The female hall also has a separate prayer room and playground, water purifier, canteen, study room, and medical facility available for students. Housekeeping and cleaning services are provided by female staff in Rawshan Ara Scholar Garden. Hall in charge and female supervisors visit the hall regularly to ensure a safe, comfortable, and healthy living environment.

DIU Hall is like my second home

My name is Ashita Elin. I am studying in the Department of Textile Engineering. Currently, I am living in the Rawshan Ara scholar Garden Hall in DIU Smart City. At first, I was a little worried about living in a hall and security, but after being here for a couple of months, I feel like it's my second home. Security guards are on duty 24/7, ensuring the safety of the female residence. We also get three meals every day & the food quality is excellent. Grocery shops and canteen facilities are also available nearby.

Convenient place for studying

I am Md Nokibuzzaman from the Department of Software Engineering. I have been living in Younus Khan Scholar's Garden from 1 January 2020 to the present. Here, we enjoy indoor and outdoor sports regularly. I have never faced any issue with electricity, water supply, or wifi in the hall. The hallway area is bright and clean. My roommates are also very nice and kind. Hall authorities pay regular visits to make sure everything is Ok. Hall officers and hostel supers are also kind and helpful. This place is both convenient and comfortable for studying

Living close to campus

My name is Muhammad Shafayet Ullah. I have been studying the Department Of Software Engineering and living in Younus Khan Scholar's Garden. The hall is very close to the DIU campus, which saves a lot of time & travel costs. The environment is very clean and close to nature. We get the opportunity to participate in indoor and outdoor game competitions arranged by the Hall authorities. We have separate beds and study tables for each student. Freshly cooked meals are served three times a day in a clean environment. Students can hang out in the common room in their spare time.

I am Uma Hosen Sohana, a student of the English department at DIU. I'm currently living in Rowshan Ara Scholar Garden. At the very beginning, I was terrified about the security and the facilities of this hostel. But, now I can confidently say that this hostel is secure for every female student. There is a lot of other facilities as well. There is a canteen and also a groceries store. We have access to purified drinking water. There are strict rules to ensure the security of female residence such as we have to enter into the hall Before 6 pm. I feel very safe & happy here.
